Facing frequent demands for transporting heavy medical materials between pharmacies, nursing stations, and wards, Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital introduced the PUDU T300 to carry medication carts, consumable carts, and medical supplies, autonomously navigating and intelligently avoiding obstacles throughout the hospital. The robot assisted in transitioning the medication cart transport task—which previously required two people—to a single-person operation, reducing the associated manpower requirement by 50% while easing the physical burden on healthcare and logistics staff and providing more efficient, stable support for medical delivery in environments with complex pedestrian flows.
