The manufacturing execution system (MES) identifies what a line needs and when; the warehouse management system (WMS) identifies available stock; the AMR management system organizes transport.</div><p style="text-align:center;"><img src="https://cdn.pudutech.com/17926366653098_3bb033af6a.png" alt="企业微信截图_17926366653098.png" width="1280" height="720"></p><ul class="list-bullet1" start="1"><li class="ace-line old-record-id-HG5hdgchLoD4cGxEhMfc0Pn5nBh" data-list="bullet"><div>For line-side replenishment, the MES requests material for a destination station. A software interface passes the source, destination, material ID, and priority to the AMR management system, which assigns a robot and plans a route.</div></li><li class="ace-line old-record-id-ZFk8dUTCrosXNUxZ8cHcQ3j0nMd" data-list="bullet"><div>During the trip, the AMR management system returns progress and exceptions. An integration API exchanges delivery requests and status between the MES/WMS and AMR management system. A separate equipment-control interface, configured through the factory’s PLC or IoT gateway, can coordinate machine-ready signals, call devices, doors, or elevators. Both interfaces must identify the same destination.</div></li></ul><h3>Which Factors Affect AMR Maintenance Costs After Layout Changes?</h3><div class="ace-line old-record-id-Nge5dsrbRopfb3xlssBcmet7n0g">For factories that frequently change production line layouts, a map-based industrial delivery AMR can reduce repeated route-mapping and guide-maintenance work compared with a guide-dependent AGV. Its total maintenance cost still depends on three areas:</div><ul class="list-bullet1" start="1"><li class="ace-line old-record-id-NfdNdpiMnofkVpxQ5YbcjvUenlg" data-list="bullet"><div><strong>Route maintenance: Remap affected areas, move task points, revise travel rules, and test trips.</strong></div></li><li class="ace-line old-record-id-Jss5dnzyco3eJixfxW1cMQoYnSf" data-list="bullet"><div><strong>System maintenance: Update MES/WMS station mappings, software interfaces, and equipment links.</strong></div></li><li class="ace-line old-record-id-RdoWdGrANoFfaPxLJ2CcsyPknRd" data-list="bullet"><div><strong>On-site maintenance: Check sensors, charging points, floor conditions, and safety measures; allow for commissioning downtime.</strong></div></li></ul><div class="ace-line old-record-id-N1nLd8u3koNBkSxZ5sVcBDf1nie">For factories that frequently change layouts and production lines, PUDU’s T300 is an industrial AMR worth considering for easier route maintenance. <p>Factory intralogistics depends on moving the right load through the right route at the required pace. The right provider of industrial delivery robots or AMRs is therefore one whose products match a facility's carriers, payloads, paths, safety requirements, and control systems. PUDU MP2000 Automated Pallet Mover A Factory Intralogistics Buyer's Guide

<p>A warehouse automation solution is often designed around an ideal operating model: standardized loads arrive at predictable locations, pallets are positioned accurately, storage locations match system records, and material-handling equipment follows repeatable workflows.</p>

Why Pallet Variability Is One of the Hardest Problems in Warehouse Automation

<div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="0" data-line="true">Forklift automation is no longer a new idea.</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="0" data-line="true">&nbsp;</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="1" data-line="true">For years, automated guided vehicles and automated forklifts have helped warehouses and manufacturing facilities move pallets along repeatable routes with less manual handling. As these systems have matured, the question facing industrial operators is changing.</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="1" data-line="true">&nbsp;</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="2" data-line="true">It is no longer simply:</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="2" data-line="true">&nbsp;</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="3" data-line="true"><strong>Should pallet transport be automated?</strong></div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="3" data-line="true">&nbsp;</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="4" data-line="true">A more relevant question is:</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="4" data-line="true">&nbsp;</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="5" data-line="true"><strong>How intelligently can a robotic forklift respond when the warehouse does not behave exactly as expected?</strong></div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="5" data-line="true">&nbsp;</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="6" data-line="true">That distinction matters because real warehouses are full of variability. A pallet may be slightly offset from its expected position. Different suppliers may use different pallet formats. A storage location that was empty an hour ago may now be occupied. Loads vary in width and shape. Temporary obstacles can appear in aisles, while workers, forklifts, carts, and other robots may all share the same operating area.</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="6" data-line="true">&nbsp;</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="7" data-line="true">Conventional automated or AGV forklift systems can perform highly repeatable tasks effectively, particularly in stable and structured environments. But a new generation of AI-native robotic forklifts is being designed to address a different challenge: allowing the robot itself to perceive more of these variations and adapt its behavior accordingly.</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="7" data-line="true">&nbsp;</div><div style="white-space:pre-wrap;" data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="8" data-line="true">The PUDU MP2000 AI-Native Pallet Handling Robot represents this direction. With a payload capacity of up to 2,000 kg, MP2000 combines autonomous pallet transport with AI load-carrier recognition, storage occupancy detection, adaptive pallet alignment, intelligent clearance assessment, multi-sensor perception, and distributed fleet orchestration.</div>
